摘要

The review concerns one of the polyethylene grades:linear low-density polyethylene (PE-LLD),being a copolymer of polyethylene with small amount (a few per cent) of higher 1-olefin,obtained in co-ordination polymerization with organometallic catalytic systems.The effect of the type of catalyst,especially modern metallocene systems,on the activity in the copolymerization and effectiveness of 1-olefin comonomer introduction to the polyethylene chain,has been discussed.Industrial methods of PE-LLD manufacturing,and the prduct characteristic against a background of known PE-LD and PE-HD polyethylene grades have been presented.The effect of PE-LLD chemical structure on its basic physicochemical properties has been also discussed as well as the methods of PE-LLD processing and the trends of its application.
