In order to successfully grow your business there are three fundamental secrets of marketing that you have to know and live: commitment, investment, and consistency. Putting together a marketing program tailored to your business requires you to be committed for the long term. Executing a marketing plan should not bring with it the expectation of instantaneous results. Once you have created a sensible plan how long should it take to bring in results? Maybe three months if you're lucky. Probably six months. It might even take as long as a year. If marketing was as simple as placing an advertisement and then sitting back and listening to the cash register ring, everybody would be rich.
