摘要

The linear statistical relationship model (Ref. 1) is used to compare two measurement procedures. To clarify concepts, three types of equivalency based on accuracy and precision of the measurement methods are defined. Two theorems giving bounded confidence intervals and equivalence tests are proved. The results derived provide the basis for designing and analyzing a comparison experiment. An actual example is used to illustrate the methodology.
