The importance of team work in healthcare requires improvement in the existing quality management system to ensure consistently high quality output. This paper proposes and verifies a quality-centered management system for healthcare system that can provide safe and reliable healthcare. This model developed is analogues to the quality management system model of the manufacturing sector but incorporates the requirements to take care of the special features of the healthcare sector. This study confirms the effectiveness of the model proposed. The results of applying the proposed model and policy management are also presented. (1 ref.)
