Cartograf completed construction of a new 400,000-ft~2 folding carton plant in San Francisco de los Romo, Aguascalien-tes state, north-central Mexico, PPI Latin America reported. The new facility resulted from a $120 million project and officially started operations in October 2013. An official cited growing demand in Mexico for litho laminated and cartons due to the expanding manufacturing base of global companies as they begin to manufacture products in Mexico due to its geographical position and labor supply.
