摘要

Integrating autonomous capabilities onto existing manned helicopters can provide similar functionality to that of a dedicated unmanned platform, but without the lengthy and costly processes often involved with certification. The roles of manned and unmanned aircraft have merged in recent years, with the latter taking over some of the responsibilities previously laid upon the former. Each has their place in military airspace, and in some cases both are required within one operational environment.
