A.Personally, I don't believe so. In general, all these creatures go where they want, and if they're hungry, they're going to go after the source of their food. For voles, that means the roots of your perennials; for squirrels, your birdseed or the nuts on your trees (the latter isn't so bad). You'll want to determine which rodents do the most damage and which ones your garden can tolerate in small quantities. Having a few moles, for instance, can actually help aerate your lawn and keep grubs at bay.
