The Environmental Protection Agency released draft risk assessments for public comment on five chemicals. In response, the following holding statement can be attributed to the American Chemistry Council (ACC): "ACC commends EPA for seeking public comment on its draft work plan risk assessments prior to conducting scientific peer review. Seeking stakeholder input is an important and necessary step toward achieving effective, transparent and credible risk assessments.
