Gallatin Steel recycles scrap steel to make new hot-rolled steel coils, using a continuous Compact Strip Production or CSP process. Quality is one of our core business values, and we are ISO/TS 16949 certified. Reclaimed metals from sources including junked automobiles, demolished buildings and bridges, railroad wheels and old household appliances are delivered to our site via truck, rail and barge. The reclaimed metals are stored in our Scrap Yard until the metals are carried into the Melt Shop and charged in a twin-shell electric arc furnace (EAF).
