In only its first season in the BTCC, the PPCGB.com/Kraftwerk Passat CC is already picking up podium places in the capable hands of Tom Onslow-Cole... TOM ONSLOW-COLE always knew that, at Oulton Park (June 8-9), it would be a hard job to repeat his double podium performance of the previous round of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship at Thruxton (May 4-5). At Thruxton, in only the seventh race for the brand-new PPCGB.com/Kraftwerk Passat CC, he'd scorched to third place and bettered that in Race 2 with a second place finish. Fourth in the weekend's finale meant that he was the second highest points scorer over the course of the three races. 'It was an amazing weekend,' said Tom. 'We knew from Donington Park two weeks ago that we were strong in the fast corners, but we've also done a lot of work on the suspension and the dampers to get the car perfect for Thruxton,' explained Onslow-Cole.
