I enjoyed your editorial "The Need for Narrative" (Fall 2015, p. 3) but thought of another way to "engage the public," if you will. Of course, we have to make the subject relevant, and as a teacher of chemistry I did what I could along those lines. But basic chemistry is limited in how much of the first-year material can be tied to daily living.
