Oscillation criteria are established for the second order nonlinear differential equation with a nonlinear periodic damping. Our results generalize earlier oscillation result of Kwong and Wong [8]. Furthermore, we are also able to answer the question in recent paper [8] for the oscillation of solutions of the special case.
