摘要

One hundred and eight collections of moth bean collected from Gujarat (30), Haryana (3) and Rajasthan (75) were characterized from various agro morphological traits. These were characterized for 13 qualitative and 14 quantitative characters in Complete Block Design augmented with 3 checks. A wide range of variability was recorded for plant height, days to 50% flowering and maturity, number of branches, clusters and pods per plant, Length of clusters and pod number of pods per cluster number of seedsper pod, size shape and color of seeds, seed yield per plant and 100 seed weight. Branches may make use of the collections with desirable superior traits. Accessions 1C 329044, 1C 311396 and 1C 402205 had high seed yield per plant and 1C 329044, 1C 415164 and 1C 415155 showed early maturity.
