This edited text is packed full of excellent up to date reviews of current commoner orthopaedic conditions and subsequent surgical interventions. The contributors presented at the most recent 71st American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons conference in San Francisco. As such they are almost exclusively North American. The chapters offer evidence-based commentary on current practice.The book comes with a high quality and easily accessible CD demonstrating many of the techniques and procedures discussed in the text adding to the reader's comprehension of the surgery. Throughout, the text has abundant well utilised photos, X-rays and diagrams.
