Transparency and conductivity are the two key parameters for transparent electrode manufacturing in many fields such as Organic Light-Emitting diodes (OLED), Organic Photovoltaic devices (OPV), touch screen or flat panel displays. ITO almost satisfies these conditions (high conductivity and acceptable transparency) but its high price linked to indium scarcity and its conductivity decreasing with bending stress, induced several studies, particularly on Ag-NW films to replace these ITO-based electrodes and to develop flexible transparent electrodes.
