In this issue of the journal, Wilson, Sharrad, Rasmus-sen, and Kernick describe an effective strategy that they used to engage academics, students, and clinicians in publication activities. I applaud these authors and their efforts because teaching others how to disseminate critical information in the form of journal writing is so important for our profession and those we serve. Editors of nursing journals often worry about how we will continue to have quality manuscripts submitted to a growing number of journals when so few nurses are taught the skill of writing for professional journals. I hope you will try some of the strategies presented by Wilson et al. and consider what else we can do to help faculty, students, and clinicians contribute to the literature.
