A 10-year-old, maleeutered Himalayan cat was presented for evaluation following diagnosis of a fractured maxillary right canine tooth (104) during an annual physical examination 1-week before presentation. The cat had received a professional teeth cleaning procedure 2-years previously at which time 104 had appeared normal during oral examination. There were no abnormalities noted on physical examination. Oral examination revealed a gingivitis index of I, a calculus index of n, and a plaque index of I. A Stage 6, Class 3 fracture of 104 was present. The crown of the maxillary left third incisor tooth (203) appeared fractured and the 203 and maxillary left second incisor tooth (202) interdental space was increased (Fig, 1).
