Anew paper by Christopher Bacon takes a discursive look at the 'big issue' themes of food sovereignty, food security and Fair Trade (Third World Quarterly (2015), 36:3, 469-488). He does this through a case study of La Promotora de Desarollo Cooperativo de las Segovias (PRODECOOP) the most renowned Nicaraguan co-operative involved in Fairtrade coffee. It provides much food for thought, but no easy answers.
