The experience of usage of geophysical methods for determination of the state of side massif at 《Muruntau》 quarry is described; these methods, unlike conventional land-surveying and geodesic measurements and observations, allow to forecast optional deformations and to take solutions for optimization of ledges and sides of a quarry beforehand and from the position of economical efficiency and safety of mining operations.
