摘要

To improve the video quality in high bit rate wireless home network without increasing the number of redundancy bit of FEC (Forward Error Control), we propose a video transmission technique with variable video coding rate and copy data transmission over Isochronous transfer mode in Wireless 1394. In the proposed technique, when channel condition degrades, the transmitting station decreases the video coding rate and copy data are transmitted with time intervals, and receiving station selects the data in which channel errors can be corrected by Reed-Solomon decoder. By the performance evaluation such as PSNR (Peak Signal to Noise Ratio) using computer simulations, we show that the proposed technique improves tile video quality compared to the conventional technique.
