We obtained experimentally the data on the turbulent gas flow pattern in a circular pipe under the action of hydrodynamic unsteadiness, that is, at acceleration and deceleration of the flow. Based on the data obtained about fields of the longitudinal and radial component of averaged velocity, their pulsations and correlations, we calculated the influence of hydrodynamic unsteadiness upon the coefficient of hydraulic resistance.
