摘要

The study area comprising an area of 24 km~2 is located 12 km southwest of the Kucukkoras village (Ayranci-Karaman) (Fig. 1). Stratigraphic and tectonic works in the Bolkardagi re-gion were started by some scientist. In these works, geology of the Bolkardagi region was studied and geolog-ical maps were made. The first bauxite works in the region were conducted. In these works, the Kucukkoras and the Gerdek-Kilise regions on the Bolkardagi moun-tains were found to be Cretaceous and Permo-Carbonifer-ous age, respectively (Fig. 2). In addition, it was also stat-ed that diasporitic bauxites which were developed along the unconformity level between the Permian (?) and Me-sozoic carbonates filled the carstic spaces of basement rocks. and performed reserve and grade esti-mations on the basis of data obtained from trenches. De-tailed geology, petrographic and geochemical studies of the Masatdagi (Alanya - Antalya) bauxites within the Bolkardagi unit was conducted, and detailed pet-rographic, geochemical and mineralogical studies of the Bolkardagi (Ayranci-Karaman) bauxite deposit were per-formed. Geochemical characteristics of Terra Rossa soil above the Upper Permian limestones of the Dedekoy formation in the Ayranci region (Bolkardaglan) were studied. In the present study, Terra Rossa soil within the Dedekoy formation is studied. Terra Rossa soil in the Kucukkoras area is observed in between the dolomites and limestones or within the limestones.
