Japanese explorer Inpex made a net profit of 128.7 billion yen ($1.6 billion) in the year to Mar. 31, up 20% on higher commodity prices. Net production jumped 42% year-on-year to 423,000 boe/d, with the start of the Van Gogh field in Australia and higher gas output from North Belut in Indonesia's South Natuna Block B.
