Total investment in China's refining sector grew 13.5% year-on-year to 113.5 billion yuan ($17.8 billion) between January and October this year, according to data from the National Development and Reform Commis- sion. Investment in petrochemicals jumped 26% in the same period to 770 billion yuan.
