Iraq’s August official formula prices for term crude exports to Asia lost ground against competing Saudi grades, while Iranian and Kuwaiti formula prices tracked the Saudi changes. Iraq’s medium, sour Basrah Light fell by 20￠/bbl relative to competing Saudi Arab Medium crude. Last month, Basrah Light had risen by 15￠/bbl against Arab Medium.
