Russian state oil giant Rosneft said Thursday that it boosted production from its giant Vankor oil field in East Siberia to 3.968 million metric tons (334,300 b/d) through Mar. 27 of 2012, up 21% year-on-year -- although this February had one more day. The figure was also 6% above the level stipulated in the company's business plan, Rosneft said.
