State-controlled China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC) on Tuesday announced two more finds in the prolific Bohai Bay area offshore northeastern China, with well tests showing combined oil production of 3,460 b/ Hong Kong-listed CNOOC said the Bozhong 8-4 discovery was made in average water depths of 28 meters, with a well drilled to 1,962 meters encountering oil pay zones and a gas reservoir. During testing, the well flowed at a rate of around 660 b/d. The second find, Kenli 10-4, was made in average water depths of about 15 meters, with a well drilled to 2,395 meters testing at some 2,800 b/d.
