Hundreds are reported killed after rebel forces seized control of a key oil town last week in South Sudan, raising fears of a widening ethnic conflict as the civil war enters its fourth month. The UN on Monday condemned the mass killings in Bentiu, the capital of oil-rich Unity state, after it fell to rebel forces allied to South Sudan's former vice president, Riek Machar.
