Southern Iraqi crude exports from Basrah for the first half of December have managed to match last month's record flows despite two days of stoppages as a result of rough weather, shipping data shows. Basrah loadings Dec. 1-15 were running at 3.34 million b/d, just marginally down on November's 3.365 million b/d, according to the data. Of this, some 930,000 b/d loaded from single point mooring buoys 1 and 3, reserved for new Iraqi grade Basrah Heavy, somewhat down on November's 1.12 million b/d. Bad weather interrupted loading on both Dec. 6 & Dec. 7.
