The UK government must address a fall in investor confidence in the energy sector as a result of the country's vote to leave the EU, according to a new report by the UK parliamentary committee on energy and climate change. While the short-term effects of "Brexit" appear be limited, the group suggests that publishing an emissions reduction plan would help address UK investor concerns. The influential committee is to be wound down due to a transition between the dissolution of the UK's Department of Energy and Climate Change and the newly created Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
