Muscat— Takamul Investment Co., an Oman Oil Co. subsidiary, has revealed plans to Muscat Daily to build a large petrochemical plant in Salalah and Sohar, Oman. The Salalah project involves construction of an ammonia unit "with the aim of further processing chemicals from Salalah Methanol Co. into value-added products," said Muscat Daily quoting Gilles Desorbay, general manager, commercial and business development at Takamul.
