London—Ineos and Solvay have received final approval from the European Commission for the formation of Inovyn, a new polyvinyl chloride (PVC) joint venture (PCN, 23 Mar 2015, p 1). Inovyn will combine Ineos and Solvay's European PVC, caustic soda and chlorine derivative activities, and will include assets across 14 sites in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Sweden and the UK. Inovyn will be formed on 1 July 2015 and be based in London.
