Paris— Arkema, in order to support its customers in the petrochemical and refining industry, has announced plans to increase its production capacity for specialty molecular sieves. Through its CECA subsidiary, Arkema will double production capacity at its Honfleur site in France. The expansion, which will operate an optimized manufacturing process, represents an investment of about ?60-million. It is designed to produce adsorbents for aromatics separation in petrochemicals. Production is scheduled to come on stream in two phases, the first in the summer of 2016 and the second in early 2017.
