Westlake Chemical has closed its offering of $750-million aggregate principal amount of 3.6% senior unsecured notes due 2026 and $700-million aggregate principal amount of 5.0% senior unsecured notes due 2046 (PCN, 8 Aug 2016, p 3). The proceeds will be used to help finance its proposed acquisition of Axiall.
