Moscow— Mitsubishi Corp. signed an agreement with the head of Russia's Sakhalin regional government to construct a new methanol facility in the region, reported Russian news agency Interfax. The plant, for which a planned production capacity is not yet available, will use natural gas from the Sakhalin fields. An estimated project cost, location and schedule were not disclosed.
