In 2009, Ansteel Bayuquan Steelworks New Area posted iron, steel and steel products output at 5.282 million tons (Mt), 5.047 Mt and 4.347 Mt, respectively, and major techno-economic indices reached leading levels as the Chinese steel industry, such as blast furnace utilization rate, coke input ratio, coal injection ratio, raw material consumption, coke consumption and coal cleaning volume, and iron ore consumption, thereby achieving every production goals established for 2009.
