摘要

Size-controlled nickel ferrite nanoparticles could be successfully synthesized via a simple solvothermal method by using ethylene glycol as solvent and NaAc as electrostatic stabilization. The size of the nanoparticles can be easily controlled from 6 to 170 nm by adjusting the experimental parameters such as reaction duration, initial concentration of the reactants, amount of protective reagents, and the type of acetates. The structure, size, morphology, and property of final products were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). The investigation on magnetic properties of nickel ferrite nanoparticles indicates that coercivity and magnetization values are directly influenced by the size of final products.
