West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude is the most likely candidate for inclusion in Europe's Brent oil price benchmark to boost trading volumes and extend its life, says pricing agency S&P Global Platts. Platts said on Monday that WTI — currently exported from the US at a rate of more than 3 million barrels per day and still growing — is “more part of the global story now."
