The editorial on ‘Social scientists, natural scientists and sociobiology’1 offers an excellent perspective to ponder upon. Physical and natural scientists analyse problems in terms of the basic building blocks like scientific principles, laboratory experiments and observation as proof of concept, whereas social scientists adopt hypothesis and people-based models for finding solutions.
