摘要

This paper proposes a radio resource management for QoS control in CDMA wireless access networks. In the proposed scheme, more physical channels are assigned to stream-class data. Although the load for interactive channels becomes heavy because the number of physical channels for the interactive class data decreases, the proposed scheme solve this problem by employing smaller spread factors physical channels for interactive class. In this process, since the interference from next cells is a significant problem, the proposed scheme reduces the target SIR of stream class data. This is because stream class data require lower SIR than interactive data. The proposed scheme, which gives more radio resource to the cell with heavy load, is capable of improving QoS both for interactive class and for stream class. In this paper, we verify the availability of the proposed scheme by computer simulations.
