When talking about today's Chianina cattle, Bob carefully picks his words in describing what he thinks the ideal cow should look like. "I think Chi cattle are plenty small right now," he said. "I thinkthey could inch up a little bit. Some are borderline too small. I think they've got plenty of meat and mass - they just may need a little bit more frame. But that's just the Chi breeder coming out of me. I think what they offer is their eye appeal. They're extremely pretty."
