Saudi Arabia's Bahra Cables has secured $265 million of Islamic financing in two loans from Standard Chartered Bank, the company said. It will use the money to expand its product portfolio in order to enter new markets.The first loan which consists of $200 million, will be spent on a fully automated warehouse and a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compounding unit at its site in Bahra. It will use the second loan totalling $65 million to expand its line of cable products.
