Video surveillance application areas are myriad. Their true scope remains almost unlimited, with a video surveillance there will be a continuous monitoring every where needed. Video surveillance is more useful to government to control traffic, monitor threats, identify the strangers and prevent criminal activities. Here we present an efficient technique for detecting the object through webcam using edge and corner detection method. This paper implements different techniques available in edge and corner detection and find the efficiency, performance evaluation of these techniques.
