Last year, the German Engineering Federation (or VDMA) celebrated its 125-year anniversary. An association steeped in mechanical engineering expertise, its members are credited with many major achievements, and that also holds true for the mining industry. Today, the organization has more than 3,200 members and its mining segment, VDMA Mining, has more than 100 members.
