Short-term outlook: in view of worse economic situation in the EU, production of stainless and special steel willhardly rise in the region in Q4. Coupled with an increase in chrome alloy supply from South Africa, that will havea negative influence on the ferrochrome market. Steadily high prices for ore will keep up the alloy quotations.
