Koyo has a close relationship with the auto industry, and it is important to both the company's growth and its contribution to society to develop and supply environmentally friendly automotive products. Over the years, steering system needs have changed from comfort to safety and then to environmental friendliness. Herein, technical trends regarding steering systems are reviewed and views concerning the future discussed briefly.
