The Iranian billet market is still unfavourable for foreign suppliers. Stocks of semis are rather high on the back of low demand for finished longs which are getting cheaper each week. Besides, the current situation in the market is aggravated by additional days off have been announced in the country for the second week in a row and state institutions, including banks, have been closed amid extreme weather conditions.
