The prices have stopped growing in the Taiwanese import ferrous scrap market. Thus, Japanese scrap collectors are offering their HMS 2 in large batches at $410-412/t C&F Taipei, Taichung, Kaohsiung in the end of November, like last week. They have decided to stop raising their quotations to Taiwan, as no new export contracts have been signed in general. At the same time, importers still consider the prices for Japanese scrap unacceptable.
