The Energy Barometer has once again delivered vital insight into the current state and future of the energy system amid a turbulent year in UK politics.Nearly 500 members from across sectors and disciplines have made their voices heard through the signature UK report from the Energy Institute(EI).The outlook for consumers in an increasingly digital,low carbon energy future is among the chief concerns voiced this year.The 2019 findings were shared with civil servants,parliamentarians,industry leaders and the media at a launch event in Westminster.The results were presented by the El's President Elect Steve Holliday FREng FEI,Trustee Joanne Wade OBE FEI,and Chief Executive Louise Kingham OBE FEI.An evening lecture at the EI offices in London,as well as presentations to UK branches,are planned following the launch.
