DuPont projects a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of more than 55% for sales of new agrochemicals between 2007 and 2013. Such sales are expected to rise from around $300 million in 2009 to over $1,000 million by 2013, according to a presentation by Jim Borel, executive vice-president of DuPont's agriculture and nutrition business, at the Goldman Sachs Agricultural Biotech Forum in New York, this month.
